High standards with an excellent value for money. Primashi in reception upgraded my King Bedroom to a Family Suite! I didn't expect it from the value I have paid. I arrived in the room, surprisingly shocked that it was a huge room. For dinner, I went to Fresh Restaurant and asked Harshana, who attended my table, about the best meal in the house. Harshana offered the Steak to me, and he was not wrong! I enjoyed my meal. Delicious fruit platter too! I will visit this hotel soon for my RAK adventures!

Much like its fellow emirates, Ras al Khaimah views the future as a world of opportunity, most evident in the capital city of the same name (also called Ra’s al Khaymah or RAK).
Although its skyline is not yet as dramatic as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, RAK still has plenty of skyscrapers, many housing hotels and apartments on Booking.com. Some overlook its long, sandy beach, alongside luxury resorts. Watersports activities include diving, and to the south-west is Ice Land waterpark.
Desert safaris are a great way to explore the rugged terrain behind the city, site of Al Sawan camel racetrack and Ras al Khaimah Airport. One of the world’s first spaceports is also planned to be out here.
Saqr Park on the capital’s outskirts is the largest UAE park, and the Tower Links Golf Club is another green spot by a lagoon joined to the sea via Ras al Khaimah Creek. The nearby beachfront Corniche is a popular picnic spot, with landscaped gardens and lots of boutiques and cafés.
More shops are in Manar Mall and the ‘Little India’ district of Al Nakheel. The old city has a bustling souk and the National Museum of Ras al Khaimah, housed in Al Hisn Fort. Another important sight is majestic Sheikh Zayed Mosque with its 4 graceful minarets.
I love the location. It is very close to the beautiful beach, walking distance to the numerous restaurants and shops. I loved the beach the most and several restaurants such as Turkish restaurant (5 min driving) and the Afghan restaurant (20 min driving). The highlight of the trip was our visit to the camel racing. Local people are very nice, helpful and welcoming. I will come back for another family vacation.

My rating of Ras Al Kaimah is based solely on Longbeach Campsite and not any of the surroundings. The fees charged by Longbeach Campsite for the unit I hired is ludicrous and I would strongly recommend that no-one book that unit at that price.

Do not book through Booking.com as they over charge over hotel tariff and also the hotel doesn't refund in case you shorten your trip. For example the hotel staffs here told me the tariff is actually 160-200 AED and booking .com charged me over 250. I finished the job early and checked out one night earlier but they made me pay for entire period as booking .com had already got their commission .

The Northern Emirates are a real gem, providing a completely different experience from Dubai/ Abu Dhabi. Because it is close to the mountains and the Omani border, there are new places to visit. Really worthwhile!

Raw Al khaimah is much less impressive than other emirates.
Raw Al khaimah is much less impressive than other emirates. The city is very widespread. There are few tourist sites. The major attractions are extreme high end resorts and some high adrenaline activities. Buses quite infrequent. Lots of malls.
Absolutely loved everything the room was a big spacious room comfortable beds - everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious it was so wonderful here. Really relaxing the beach is literally a two minute walk and even then the hotel offers a buggy service. Lots of activities or you can just chill on the white sandy beach and have a dip in the water. The facilities are so good too they have a sauna, steam, swimming pool and jacuzzi women and men are separate and we used the spa too it was absolutely brilliant!
This is a quaint apartment with an ocean and lagoon view, although at this time of year the patio was hot in the afternoons. The host was very helpful and good about answering any questions on whatsapp. There are restaurants withing walking distance. Al Hamrah public beach accepts dogs. I even had friends join me last minute for one of the nights, and the host was excellent about dropping off extra bedding and towels. Ras Al Khaimah is very dog friendly and there are many things you can do (activities).
This Hotel is one of the best i have ever been to. The feeling of being in a community type place makes you feel home. We can even access the beach and amenities of hamra residence which is located near by.
Mr. Safwat was amazing , he gave us an upgrade to junior suite even though we had booked just for a king bedroom. Mr.Zahid was kind and helpful taking care of my checkout formalities.
Overall i would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to have a peaceful stay.
This is a classic 3-star hotel: spacious rooms, furniture for folding clothes and things, a comfortable double bed, a functional shower and strong Wi-Fi. The place located behind the big bridge in Ras Al Khaimah, and that's for the best: the area is quiet but with all required facilities (big malls, restaurants, etc). We enjoyed walking here in the evenings as well as going to the downtown and beach directions - actually it's like 30 mins of walking to get there.
It was a great stay! Apartment is in a great location on artificial island in Ras Al Khaimah (It’s a must while visitting UAE), and very nice, well-kept, well-furnished. There are lots of attractions nearby, there is also a beautiful beach just a few steps from the apartment. The property manager, Daran is very helpful, looks after the guests and is very polite. The price is really afordable, especially for this standard! I recommend it with all my heart!
In my opinion - the best hotel on Marjan island.
Very nice food, nice drinks.
Clean and spacious rooms.
Staff is welcoming and helpful.
There are always enough sunbeds both on the beach and at pool area.
Enjoyed all the evening shows, animation team is very professional together with the sport activities in a separate area during the day (organized by the same team I guess).
All the pools are heated.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Movenpick Beach Resort in Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah. The service was truly top-notch, and Anastasia, who assisted us during check-in, went above and beyond. Her recommendations for dining, particularly Ula and Neo Sky restaurant, were spot-on and added to the overall excellence of our experience. Highly recommended!
One of the best resorts on Marjan Island,
we had a great time,
Manager Roshan super helpful, great person the I have met, Roshan he always willing to assist in everything, he is a all rounder of hotel,

This is my favourite hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. Lovely grounds, comfortable room with all the expected facilities, fantastic breakfast with lots of choice, all nice and fresh, and friendly and helpful staff in all departments. And lots of car parking spaces, even at the weekend.
My family visited this hotel for the second time. Above all, the best service and friendliness are the pride of this hotel. We have received the best service from Mr. Hayford and my family promised to return to this hotel when we will visit Ras Al Khaimah.
Thanks!!
It was quite a pleasant experience staying here at The Cove Rotana Ras Al Khaimah. We went there to celebrate the 1st birthday of our son and we really enjoyed the facilities, ambience and food here. Would love to visit again.
Thank you Ras Al Khaimah Hotel. Respectful treatment and good service. It starts with Mr. Sultan's reception and his smile throughout the stay. Taking care of the cleaning of the rooms. Ms. Vivian. Thanks
All the staff make Rixos. They are very dedicated and hard working. It is because of this, you actually relax in a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.
